Whimsical Victorian Boot Vase/Figurine

This delicate vase is artistically hand painted. Purchased from an antique store, it brings to my mind, Mary Poppins! Can you imagine having to button those boots every day?

After covering the solid maroon ceramic with spray primer I launched into the design process. Next I painted the tip and heel in French blue acrylic paint. The ivory checks are embellished with shades of yellow ochre and blue. The buttons and base of the heel are covered in gold metal leaf. This unique piece will capture awe wherever you choose to use it! While it will be stunning as a flower vase, it can also hold pens, makeup brushes or paint brushes! I recommend putting it where you’ll see every day…in your office, on your vanity, at the coffee station, etc.
